    ٢١٣٤- حييّ بن حارثة الثّقفي: حليف بني «٣» زهرة. ذكره الأمويّ عن ابن إسحاق بحاء مهملة وتحتانيتين مصغّرا، وذكره الواقديّ كذلك، ولكن سمى أباه جارية- بالجيم والتحتانية بدل المهملة والمثلثة. وذكره الطبريّ فقال: حيّ- بمهملة مفتوحة وياء واحدة- واتفقوا على أنه قتل باليمامة شهيدا. حكى ابن الأثير ضبطه عن هؤلاء، وليس ضبطه في كتبهم بالأحرف. والصّواب من ذلك كله أنه حيّي، بضم المهملة وتشديد الموحدة مع الإمالة وآخره تحتانية، وأبوه بالجيم والتحتانية، هكذا حرره ابن ماكولا، وقد تقدم في القسم الأول على الصّواب.

    [٥٥٥] حُيَيُّ بنُ حارثةَ (¬١) الثَّقَفِيُّ (¬٢)، حليفٌ لبني زُهْرةَ بنِ كِلابٍ، أسلَم يومَ فتحِ مكةَ، قُتِل يومَ اليمامةِ شهيدًا، هكذا قال ابنُ إسحاقَ: حُيَيُّ بنُ حارثةَ (¬٣)، وقال الواقديُّ: حيُّ (¬٤) بنُ جاريةَ (¬٥)، وكذلكذَكَره الطبريُّ (¬١)، وقال أبو معشرٍ: يَعْلَى بنُ جاريةَ الثَّقَفِيُّ (¬٢).
