    ٧٨٩- بيرح بن أسد الطاحي [ (٣) ] ، من أهل عمان. هاجر إلى النبيّ ﷺ فوجده قد مات. روى حديثه أحمد وابن أبي خيثمة وغيرهما من طريق جرير بن حازم. عن الزبير بن حريث، عن أبي لبيد، قال: خرج رجل من أهل عمان يقال له بيرح بن أسد مهاجرا إلى النبيّ ﷺ بالمدينة فوجده قد مات، فبينا هو في بعض الطرق لقيه عمر بن الخطاب فأدخله على أبي بكر الصديق ... فذكر الحديث في فضل عمان.وقال الرّشاطيّ: قدم المدينة بعد وفاة النبيّ ﷺ بأيّام وكان قد رآه، كذا قال.
