    ٢٢٣ - عبد الله بن علي، الجَبَليُّ (¬٤٦١). روى عن: محمد بن أحمد بن الجنيد الدَّقَّاق. روى عنه: أبو حاتم بن حِبَّان في مقدمة "المجروحين" في موضع واحد برقم (١/ ٨٢) ط. الوعيّ، و (١/ ٧٨) ط. السّلفيّ. قال ابن حِبَّان: "سمعته بجبل على دجلة". لم أقف له على ترجمة، وشيخه محمد بن أحمد بن الجنيد صدوقٌ، قد ترجم له ابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل" (٧/ ١٨٣)، والخطيب في "التاريخ" (١/ ٢٨٥)، وابن حجر في "تعجيل المنفعة" (ت ٩٢٣)، ولم يذكروا عبد الله بن علي ضمن الرواة عنه. [*] عبد الله بن قحطبة بن مرزوق = عبد الله بن محمد بن قحطبة، يأتي. نسب إلى جدِّه في "الثقات" (٨/ ٣٠، و ٣٦٥).*
