١٢٥ - جعفر بن سهل بن الحسن، البَالِيسِيُّ (¬٢٨٣)، أبو القاسم، القاضي. روي عن: أحمد بن سليمان الصُّورِيُّ، وأحمد بن الفرج، وأبي ميمون جعفر بن نصر العَنْبَرِيِّ الكُّوفِيِّ - بالرَّقة -، ومحمد بن عامر. روى عنه: أبو حاتم بن حِبَّان في "المجروحين" في موضع واحد برقم (١/ ٢١٤)، وإسماعيل بن أحمد بن أيوب البَالِيسِيُّ، وأبو أحمد عبد الله بن عَدِيّ في "كامله". له رواية في: "الكامل" (٢/ ١٥٢)، و (٢/ ٣٨٤)، و "تاريخ دمشق" (٨/ ٣٥٤). (قلتُ): وقع في "تاريخ دمشق" (٦/ ٢٥٧) (الفارسي) بدلًا من(البالسي)، ولم أقف له على ترجمة. *
