    ٦٤٨ - غزاة الأبواء، وهي غزاة ودان. خرج رسول الله ﷺ في صفر على رأس اثني عشر شهرا من هجرته يريد عيرا لقريش. فبلغ هذين الموضعين، وبينهما ستة أميال. ولم يلق كيدا. فانصرف إلى المدينة. وكان خليفته عليها في هذه المرة سعد بن عبادة الخزرجي. وغاب عنها خمس عشرة ليلة. وفي هذه الغزاة وادع بني ضمرة بن كنانة على أن لا يغزوهم ولا يغزونه وألا يعينوا عليه أحدا.
