١٤٣٠ - [أبو عبد الله بن الجلاء] (٣) أبو عبد الله بن الجلاء، واسمه: أحمد بن يحيى، الشيخ الكبير، من أجل مشايخ الصوفية. صحب ذا النون المصري، والكبار، وكان قدوة الشام، وقال لأبويه: أشتهي أن تهباني لله ﷿، فقالا: قد وهبناك له، فغاب عنهما مدة من الزمان، ثم جاء في ليلةذات مطر وبرد، فقرع الباب عليهما، فقالا: من هذا؟ قال: ولدكما، فقالا: ليس لنا ولد، كان لنا ولد وهبناه لله ﷿، ونحن قوم عرب إذا وهبنا شيئا .. لا نرجع فيه. توفي سنة ست وثلاث مائة.
