يزيد بن سعيد بن ثمامة بن الأسود بن عبد الله بن الحارث الولادة الكندي، وقيل غير ذلك في نسبه. أسلم يوم الفتح. وروى عن النبي ﵌. وعنه: ابنه السائب بن يزيد ابن أخت نمر. قلت: وقال الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب: ما اتخذ النبي ﵌ قاضيا ولا أبو بكر ولا عمر، حتى كان في وسط خلافته، قال ليزيد ابن أخت نمر: اكفني بعض الأمور، يعني صغارها. • م د -
