مالك بن ربيعة بن البدن بن عمرو بن عوف بن حارثة بن عمرو بن الخزرج بن ساعدة بن كعب أبو أسيد الساعدي. شهد بدرا، والمشاهد كلها. روى عن: النبي ﵌. وعنه: أولاده حمزة والزبير، والمنذر، ومولاه: علي بن عبيد، وأنس بن مالك، وعباس بن سهل بن سعد، وعبد الملك بن سعيد بن سويد، وأبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، وإبراهيم بن محمد بن طلحة، وقرة بن أبي قرة، ويزيد بن زيد المدني - مولى بني ساعدة -. مات سنة ستين، وهو آخر من مات من البدريين؛ فيما ذكر المدائني. وقال الواقدي وخليفة: مات سنة ثلاثين. قال ابن عبد البر: هذا اختلاف متباين. وقال غيره: مات سنة أربعين.• س -
