    محمد بن الوليد بن أبي الوليد الفحام، البغدادي، أخو أحمد. روى عن: ابن عيينة، وأبي المغيرة النضر بن إسماعيل، ومحمد بن ربيعة الكلابي، ويحيى بن آدم، وغيرهم. وعنه: النسائي، وجعفر بن أحمد بن سنان، وعبد الله بن قحطبة، والهيثم بن خلف، وإسحاق بن حكيم، والباغندي، وابن صاعد، وابن أبي داود، والمحاملي، وغيرهم. قال النسائي: لا بأس به. وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. وقال البغوي وغيره: مات ببغداد سنة اثنتين وخمسين ومائتين. قلت: وقال مسلمة: لا بأس به. • د -
