قيس بن هبار بصري. روى عن: ابن عباس في النبيذ. وعنه: سليمان التيمي. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. وروى حجاج بن حسان، عن عثمان بن قيس، عن قيس بن همام، عن ابن عباس وكأنه هذا. وقد اختلف في اسمه (¬١) فقيل أيضا: [همام، وقيل]: هنام، وقيل: هنان، وقيل: وهبان، وقيل: سنان. قلت: قال الذهبي: تفرد عنه سليمان التيمي. وذكر العسكري في الصحابة قيس بن هنام، وقال: روى مرسلا. وقال ابن حبان في ثقات التابعين: قيس بن همام التيمي، روى عنه أهل العراق. • م د ق -
