فروة بن مسيك بن الحارث بن سلمة بن الحارث بن كريب، ويقال: بدل كريب ذؤيب - بن مالك بن منبه بن غطيف المرادي ثم الغطيفي، له صحبة، سنة تسع وسكن الكوفة. روى عن: النبي ﵌. وعنه: أبو سبرة النخعي، وهانئ بن عروة المرادي، وعامر الشعبي، وسعيد بن أبيض بن حمال، وغيرهم. له عندهما حديث وفادته طوله (ت) فأخرجه في تفسير سبأ، واختصره (د) وعند (د) حديث: من القرف التلف، وفي حديثه أن النبي ﵌ أمره على قتال من لم يسلم من أهل سبأ، ثم شرط عليه أن يراجعه في أمرهم. قلت: وقال ابن سعد: استعمله عمر بن الخطاب على صدقات مذحج. وكناه ابن أبي خيثمة في تاريخه أبا عمير. • خ ت -
