عمر بن حفص بن عمر بن سعد بن عابد المدني، أبو حفص المؤذن، وجده المعروف بسعد القرظ. روى عن: أبيه، وجده عمر، وعمرو بن شمر. وعنه: عبد الرحمن بن سعد بن عمار بن سعد القرظ، وابن جريج، ومات قبله، وإسماعيل بن أبي أويس. وقال الدارمي، عن ابن معين: ليس بشيء. وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. •
