عثمان بن أبي حازم بن صخر بن العيلة البجلي. روى عن: أبيه عن جده صخر بن العيلة. روى عنه: ابن أخيه أبان بن عبد الله البجلي. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. له عنده حديث تقدم في صخر. قلت: سيأتي في الكنى عن أبي حاتم الرازي: أن صخر بن العيلة يكنى أبا حازم. فعلى هذا يكون لوالد صخر صحبة ورواية، وليس كذلك، فيحتمل أن يكون صخر جد عثمان لأمه، وأما أبوه فليس هو ابن صخر، بل أبو حازم آخر لا يعرف، وسيعاد في الكنى. • د ق -
