    عبد العزيز أخو حذيفة، ويقال: ابن أخي حذيفة. روى عن: حذيفة أن النبي ﵌ كان إذا حزبه أمر صلى. وعنه: محمد بن عبد الله بن أبي قدامة، ويقال: أبو قدامة محمد بن عبيد الحنفي، وأبو عبد الله حميد بن زياد الفلسطيني، ويقال: اليماني. ذكره ابن حبان في التابعين من كتاب «الثقات»، وقال: لا صحبة له. قلت: صحح أبو نعيم أنه ابن أخي حذيفة، ووهم ابن منده بذكره إياه في «الصحابة». وقوله: إنه أخو حذيفة، وذكره في الصحابة أيضا أبو إسحاق بن الأمين وغيره، وذلك مصير منهم إلى أنه أخو حذيفة، فيكون له إدراك أو رؤية؛ لأن أبا حذيفة قتل يوم أحد مع النبي ﵌.
