عبد الرحمن بن المسور بن مخرمة بن نوفل بن أهيب بن عبد مناف بن زهرة الزهري، أبو المسور المدني. روى عن: أبيه، وسعد بن أبي وقاص، وأبي رافع مولى النبي ﵌. وعنه: ابنه جعفر، والزهري، وجعفر بن عبد الله بن الحكم الأنصاري، وحبيب بن أبي ثابت. ذكر ابن حبان في «الثقات». وقال ابن سعد: أمه أمة الله بنت شرحبيل بن حسنة، وتوفي بالمدينة سنة تسعين، وكان قليل الحديث. وكذا أرخه غير واحد. روى له مسلم حديثا واحدا في الإيمان. • ت عس -
