عبد الرحمن بن شريك بن عبد الله النخعي، الكوفي. روى عن: أبيه. وعنه: البخاري في كتاب «الأدب»، وأبو كريب، ومحمد بن عبد الله بن نمير، وأحمد بن عثمان بن حكيم،وأبو شيبة بن أبي بكر بن أبي شيبة، ومحمد بن بشر بن شريك النخعي وهو ابن أخيه، ومحمد بن أبي غالب القومسي، ومحمد بن مسلم بن وارة، وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم: واهي الحديث. وذكره ابن حبان في «الثقات»، وقال: ربما أخطأ. قال ابن عقدة: مات سنة سبع وعشرين ومائتين. • م س -
