عبد الله بن مخلد بن خالد بن عبد الله التميمي، أبو محمد، ويقال: أبو بكر، النيسابوري النحوي. روى عن: أبيه مخلد، وأبي عبيد القاسم بن سلام وكان راوية كتبه، ومكي بن إبراهيم، وعفان، وأبي نعيم، ويحيى بن يحيى النيسابوري، وعبدان المروزي، وأحمد بن حنبل، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو داود، وابنه أبو بكر بن أبي داود، وابن خزيمة، وأبو عمرو المستملي، وأبو حامد بن الشرقي، وغيرهم. قال الحاكم: سمع بخراسان والكوفة وغيرهما، وهو راوي كتب أبي عبيد بخراسان، رأيت كتاب إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن عمار بخطه «غريب الحديث» سماعه من عبد الله بن مخلد، وفيه سماع مشايخنا. قرأت في كتاب بعض أصحابنا: توفي سنة ستين ومائتين. • ع -
