عبد الله بن الزبير بن العوام بن خويلد بن أسد الأسدي، أبو بكر، ويقال: أبو خبيب، وأمه أسماء بنت أبي بكر. هاجرت به أمه إلى المدينة وهي حامل، فولدت بعد الهجرة بعشرين شهرا، وقيل: في السنة الأولى، وكان أول مولود ولدفي الإسلام بالمدينة من قريش. روى عن: النبي ﵌، وعن أبيه، وعن جده أبي بكر، وخالته عائشة، وعمر، وعثمان، وعلي، وسفيان بن أبي زهير الثقفي. وعنه: أولاده: عباد، وعامر، وأم عمرو، وأخوه عروة، وأبناء أخيه: محمد وهشام وعبد الله أبناء عروة، وابن ابنه الآخر مصعب بن ثابت مرسل، وعبد الوهاب بن يحيى بن عباد بن
