عبادة الزرقي الأنصاري، له صحبة. روى عن: عبد الله بن سلام. وعنه: ابناه: سعد، وعبد الله. قال الطبراني: عبادة الزرقي، وقيل: أبو عبادة، فمن قال: أبو عبادة قال: اسمه سعد بن عثمان بن خلدة بن مخلد بن حارثة بن مالك بن غضب بن جشم بن الخزرج، بدري. وذكره ابن حبان في ثقات التابعين. قلت: قال ابن السكن: ليس له إلا حديث واحد في تحريم المدينة، وقد ذكر له البخاري في «الأدب المفرد» حديثه عن عبد الله بن سلام، لكنه لم يرفعه. وقال البخاري: وأبو حاتم، وموسى بن هارون: له صحبة. وقال يعقوب بن سفيان: كان من الصحابة. وقال ابن عبد البر: لا تدفع صحبته.
