    الضحاك بن شراحيل، ويقال: ابن شرحبيل، الهمداني، المشرقي. نسبة إلى مشرق قبيلة من همدان. روى عن: أبي سعيد الخدري، ومالك بن أوس بن الحدثان. وعنه: حبيب بن أبي ثابت، وسلمة بن كهيل، والأعمش، والزهري، وعبد الملك بن ميسرة. ذكره ابن حبان في «الثقات». له عندهم حديثان: أحدهما في ذكر الخوارج، والآخر في فضل سورة الإخلاص. قلت: وذكر أبو بكر البزار في «مسنده» أنه ارتفعت جهالته برواية الزهري وغيره عنه. قال: ويرون أنه الضحاك بن مزاحم. • د ت ق -
