    سليمان بن الجهم بن أبي الجهم الأنصاري الحارثي، أبو الجهم الجوزجاني، مولى البراء بن عازب. روى عنه، وعن: أبي مسعود الأنصاري البدري، وأبي زيد صاحب أبي هريرة، وخالد بن وهبان، وغيرهم. وعنه: روح بن جناح، ومطرف بن طريف، وأثنى عليه خيرا. قال ابن المديني: لا أعلم روى عنه غير مطرف. وذكره ابن حبان في «الثقات». قلت: وقال: عداده في أهل جرجان، كذا قال، وأما البخاري فقال فيه: الجوزجاني، ويقال: الجرجاني. وقال العجلي: كوفي، تابعي، ثقة. ونقل ابن خلفون، عن ابن عمير توثيقه. •
