    روح بن الفرج القطان، أبو الزنباع المصري. روى عن: يوسف بن عدي، وعمرو بن خالد الحراني، وسعيد بن عفير، وأبي صالح كاتب الليث عبد الله بن صالح، ويحيى بن بكير، وغيرهم. وعنه: المحاملي، والطحاوي، وعلي بن محمد المصري، وعبد الله بن إسحاق، وأبو العباس الأصم، والطبراني. وكان من الثقات. وقال ابن يونس: توفي في ذي القعدة سنة (٢٨٢)، وكان مولده في سنة (٢٠٤). قلت: قال الكندي في الموالي: كان من أوثق الناس. وقال ابن قديد: ذاك رجل نفسه، رفعه الله بالعلم والصدق. وقال الخطيب: كان ثقة. • تمييز -
