    حصين بن نمير الكندي ثم السكوني الحمصي. روى عن: بلال مولى أبي بكر. وعنه: ابنه يزيد. كان على الجيش الذين قاتلوا ابن الزبير بمكة، ويقال: إنه أحرق الكعبة. قلت: كان أحد أمراء يزيد بن معاوية في وقعة الحرة، وكان الأمر إلى مسلم بن عقبة المزني فلما ظعن عن المدينة أخذه الله فاستخلف على الجيش حصينا هذا فحاصر ابن الزبير، ورموا البيت بالمنجنيق، ولم يلبثوا أن أخذ الله يزيد بن معاوية فجاءهم الخبر بموته، فأخذ حصين الأمان من ابن الزبير، ودخلوا الحرم، ثم رحلوا إلى الشام، وفرق البخاري بين حصين بن نمير الراوي عن بلال، وبين حصين بن نمير الأمير وهو الأظهر عندي. وكذلك ذكر ابن حبان في الثقات الراوي عن بلال. • د -
