    الحسن بن محمد بن شعبة، الواسطي، صوابه: الحسين بن محمد بن شنبة، وسيأتي. فأما الحسن بن محمد بن شعبة، فهو بغدادي متأخر. روى عن: أبي سعيد الأشج، ويعقوب الدورقي، وعلي بن نصر بن علي الجهضمي، وهارون بن إسحاق الهمداني، وجماعة. وعنه: أبو الحسين بن المظفر الحافظ، وأبو الفضل عبيد الله بن عبد الرحمن الزهري، وأبو عمر بن حيويه، وأبو حفص بن شاهين، وغيرهم. قال الدارقطني: لا بأس به. وقال الخطيب: كان ثقة. توفي في ذي القعدة سنة (٣١٣). • خ ٤ -
