    الحارث السلمي، والد مالك. جرى ذكره في سند أثر علقه البخاري في الطهارة، فقال: وصلى أبو موسى الأشعري في دار البريد والسرقين والبرية إلى جانبه، فقال: هاهنا وثم سواء. ووصله ابن أبي شيبة من طريق الأعمش، عن مالك بن الحارث السلمي، عن أبيه قال: كنا مع أبي موسى بعين التمر في دار البريد. . . الحديث، وفي رواية له: فقلت له: لو خرجت، فقال: ذاك وذا سواء. وذكره ابن أبي حاتم في من لم يسم والده ممن اسمه الحارث، ولم يذكر فيه جرحا. وذكر ابن حبان في ثقات التابعين: •
