١٠٣٤١ - س ق: أبو معقل الأسدي الأنصاري حليف بني أسد يقال: اسمه الهيثم بن نهيك بن أساف بن عدي بن زيد بن جشم بن حارثة وهو زوج أم معقل شهد أحدًا ويقال: إنه مات في حجة الوداع. روى حديثه الأعمش عن عمارة بن عمير وجامع بن شداد عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث أنه جاء إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: إن أم معقل جعلت عليها حجة ورواه أبو إسحاق عن الأسود بن يزيد عن أبي معقل وقيل: عن الأسود عن أبي معقل عن أم معقل. قلت: ينبغي تحرير هذه الترجمة وترجمة معقل بن أبي معقل الذي تقدمت في الأسماء هل هما واحد أو اثنان.
