    ٩١٧٢ - تمييز: يوسف بن حماد أبو يعقوب الإسترأبادي. روى عن: ابن عيينة، ووكيع، وأبي معاوية، وأبي ضمرة، ويزيد بن هارون، وغيرهم. وعنه: حفيده محمد بن محمد بن يوسف بن حماد، ومحمد بن جعفر بن طرخان، والحسن بن بندار الإسترابادي، ومحمد بن يزيد، وغيرهم. ذكره أبو سعد الإدريسي في تاريخ إستراباد وقال: مات بعد الأربعين ومائتين وكان حسن الرواية لا بأس به.
