٩٠٧٢ - ق: يزيد بن مقسم (¬٦) الثقفي مولاهم الطائفي ويعرف بيزيد بن ضبة وهي أمه. روى عن: ميمونة بنت كردم. وعنه: ابنه عبد الله، وحفيده عبد العظيم بن عبد الله، وعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الطائفي. قال حفيده: كان جدي مولى لثقيف، وكانت أمه تحضن أولاد المغيرة، وكان جدي ينتسب إليها لشهرتها. ويقال: إنه كان شاعرًا مذكورًا عمرحتى أدركه الأصمعي كان يطلب القوافي المعتاصة، ويقال: إنه عمل قصيدة فانتحلتها شعراء العرب. وذكره ابن حبان (¬١) في الثقات. قلت: وقال ابن عبد البر: هو غير معروف.
