    ٨٩٨٩ - م د س: يزيد بن حيان أبو حيان التيمي الكوفي. عن: زيد بن أرقم، وشبرمة بن الطفيل، وكدير الضبي، وعنبس بن عقبة. وعنه: ابن أخيه أبو حيان التيمي، والأعمش، وفطر بن خليفة، وسعيد بن مسروق الثوري (¬٣). قال النسائي: ثقة. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في الثقات. قلت: وقال يعقوب بن سفيان (¬٥): ثنا أبو نعيم، ثنا سفيان بن سعيد، ثنا يزيد بن حيان وهو من قدماء أهل الكوفة.
