٨٧٧٨ - د: يحيى بن إسماعيل الواسطي أبو زكرياء. ررى عن: عبد السلام بن حرب، وعبد الحميد بن عبد الرحمن الحماني، وابن المبارك، وعباد بن العوام، وإبراهيم بن سعد، وعيسى بن يونس، ووكيع، ويحيى بن يمان وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو داود، إبراهيم الحربي، وإسماعيل سمويه، وتمتام، وأبو الأحوص قاضي عكبراء وعباس الدوري، وابن أبي الدنيا، وعلي بن سعيد بن مسروق الكندي، وجعفر بن محمد الصائغ وآخرون. قال الآجري: سئل أبو داود عنه فقال: سمعت أحمد ذكره. فقال: أعرفه قديمًا وكان لي صديقًا. وقال أبو حاتم (¬٢): أدركته ولم أكتب عنه.
