٨٥٣٥ - م: هريم بن عبد الأعلى بن الفرات الأسدي أبو حمزة البصري. روى عن: يزيد بن زريع، وخالد بن الحارث، وحاتم بن وردان، ومعتمر بن سليمان، وسعيد بن الركين الكلبي، وعباس بن إسماعيل. روى عنه: مسلم، وبقي بن مخلد، وإسماعيل سمويه، وعبد الله بن أحمد، وعبدان بن أبي القاضي، وعبدان الأهوازي، وعبد الله بن محمد بن النعمان الأصبهاني، وأبو يعلى الموصلي وغيرهم. قال أبو الشيخ: حدث بأصبهان، ومات بالبصرة سنة خمس وثلاثين وذكره ابن حبان (¬٨) في الثقات وقال: مات سنة أربعين ومائتين أو قبلها بقليل أو بعدها. قلت: وقال مسلمة بن قاسم: لا أعرفه ولا عبرة بقوله فقد عرفه مسلم.
