٧٩٦٢ - ز م د س: معاوية بن الحكم السلمي. روى عن: النبي ﷺ. وعنه: ابنه كثير، وعطاء بن يسار، وأبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن. قال أبو عمر: كان ينزل المدينة ويسكن في بني سليم، له عن النبي ﷺ حديث واحد في الكهانة والطيرة والخط وتشميت العاطس وعتق الجارية، أحسن الناس له سياقة يحيى بن أبي كثير عن هلال بن أبي ميمونة عن عطاء عنه. ومنهم من يقطعه فيجعله أحاديث (¬٧).قلت: وله حديث آخر من طريق ابنه كثير بن معاوية عنه.
