٧٩١٦ - م ٤: المطلب بن أبي وداعة الحارث بن صبيرة (¬٦) بن سعيد بن سعد بن سهم السهمي القرشي أمه أروى بنت الحارث بن عبد المطلب. روى عن: النبي ﷺ وعن حفصة. وعنه: أولاده جعفر، وعبد الرحمن، وكثير، وحفيده أبو سفيان بن عبد الرحمن بن المطلب، والسائب بن يزيد، وعكرمة بن خالد، وعبد الله بن الحارث بن نوفل على خلاف فيه. روى له مسلم حديثه عن حفصة في صلاة السبحة قاعدًا. قلت: وقال الواقدي: نزل المدينة وله بها داروبقي دهرًا ومات بها. وذكره ابن سعد (¬١) في مسلمة الفتح. من اسمه: مطهر ومطوس
