    ٧٧٣١ - خ: مرداس (¬٧) بن مالك الأسلمي كان من أصحاب الشجرة. روى عن: النبي ﷺ حديث "يذهب الصالحون". وعنه: قيس بن أبي حازم، وزياد بن علاقة. قلت: مرداس الذي روى عنه زياد بن علاقة إنما هو مرداس بن عروة صحابي آخر. ذكره البخاري (¬٨): وأبو حاتم (¬٩)، وابن حبان (¬١٠)، وابن منده، وغير واحد، وصرح مسلم، وأبو الفتح الأزدي، وجماعة، أن قيس بن أبي حازم تفرد بالرواية عن مرداس بن مالك الأسلمي وهو الصواب، لكن قال ابن السكن: إن بعض أهل الحديث زعم أن مرداس بن عروة هو مرداس الأسلمي الذي روى عنه قيس بن أبي حازم، وقال: والصحيح أنهما أثنان. من اسمه: مرزوق
