٧٤٩٩ - تمييز: محمد بن النعمان بن شبل البصري الباهلي مولاهم. روى عن: مالك، وعطاف بن خالد، وفضيل بن عياض. روى عنه: أبو روق النهراني. وممن يقال له محمد بن النعمان فقط ثلاثة: أحدهم همداني كوفي روى عن طلحة بن مصرف. روى عنه شعبة وأثنى عليه خيرًا. والآخر ولد النعمان بن عبد السلام الصهباني (¬٣) وقال: مات سنة أربعوأربعين ومائتين، وكان ورعًا. حدث عن سفيان بن عيينة وغيره.
