٧٣١٣ - ت: محمد بن عمرو بن نبهان بن صفوان الثقفي البصري. روى عن: أبيه، وأبي خالد، وروح بن أسلم، ويحيى بن كثير، وعلي بن المديني. روى عنه: الترمذي هكذا نسبه الترمذي في عامة روايته عنه. وقال مرة: ثنا محمد بن عمرو بن أبي صفوان. وكذا قال أبو قريش محمد بن جمعة، وأبو إبراهيم محمد بن عيسى الزهري، وأبو حامد بن هارون الحضرمي، وروى أبو بكر بن أبي عاصم، عن محمد بن أبي صفوان، عن يحيى بن كثير وهو نسبة إلى جده. وقال النسائي: عن محمد بن عثمان بن أبي صفوان عن بهز. قلت: شيخ النسائي تقدم والظاهر أن هذا آخر عنده وإن كان عند المؤلف واحدًا فكان ينبغي له أن يضم ترجمته إلى ذلك وينبه عليه هنا
