٧٢٦٠ - مد ت: محمد بن عروة بن الزبير بن العوام الأسدي. روى عن: أبيه، وعمه عبد الله. روى عنه: أخوه هشام، والزهري. قال خليفة: أمه أم يحيى بنت الحكم بن أبي العاص. وقال الزبير: كان بارعًا جميلًا يضرب بحسنه المثل. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٩) في الثقات. وقال مصعب بن الزبير: توفي مع أبيه وعروة يومئذ عند الوليد بنعبد الملك وفي ذلك السفر أصيبت رجل عروة.
