٧٠٧١ - س ق: محمد بن طلحة بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر الصديق التيمي المدني. روى عن: أبيه، ومعاوية بن جاهمة، وقيل: عن أبيه عن معاوية. وعنه: ابن إسحاق، وابن جريج، وعبد الرحمنابن أبي بكر المليكي، وداود بن عبد الرحمن العطار. ذكره ابن حبان (¬١) في الثقات وقال: كان عاملًا لعمر بن عبد العزيز على مكة. قلت: وكذا حكاه البخاري (¬٢) في تاريخه عن علي عن سفيان وزاد فكان يستشير ابن أبي نجيح وغيره، وقد أرسل عن جده الأعلى أبي بكر ﵁ حديثًا في أول الغيلانيات.
