٧٠٧٠ - بخ ت: محمد بن الطفيل بن مالك النخعي أبو جعفر الكوفي. سكن فيد (¬٥). روى عن: ابن عمه شريك بن عبد الله، وعبد السلام بن حرب، وفضيل بن عياض، وحماد بن زيد، ومحمد بن سليمان ابن الأصبهاني، وعدة. وعنه: البخاري في الأدب. وروى: الترمذي عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الدارمي عنه وعباس الدوري، وأحمد بن سيار المروزي، وأبو إسماعيل الترمذي، وأبو شيبة بن أبي بكر بن أبي شيبة، وعباس بن الفرج الرياشي، ومحمد بن أيوب بن الضريس، وإبراهيم بن عبد الله بن الجنيد، وعثمان بن سعيد الدارمي، ومحمد بن يونس الكديمي، وغيرهم. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٦) في الثقات. قال محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي: مات سنة اثنتين وعشرين ومائتين. قلت:
