٦٩٨٥ - د: محمد بن سفيان بن أبي الزرد (¬٢) الأبلي. وقيل: اسم جده يعقوب. روى عن: حبان بن هلال، وسعيد بن عامر الضبعي، وبكير بن بكار، وعثمان بن عمر بن فارس، ويحيى بن أبي بكير الكرماني، ويعقوب بن محمد الزهري، وأبي عاصم، وغيرهم. روي عنه: أبو داود، وابن أبي عاصم، وعبد الله بن قحطبة الصلحي، والحسن بن علي بن نصر الطوسي، والحسين بن إسحاق التستري، وسهل بن موسى بشران الرامهرمزي، والعباس بن حمدان الأصبهاني، وعبدان بن أحمد الأهوازي، وابن خزيمة، ومحمد بن المسيب الأرغياني، وابن صاعد، والباغندي، وابن أبي داود، وغيرهم. قال الآجري: سمعت أبا داود يثني عليه. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٣) في الثقات.
