٦٨٨٧ - ق: محمد بن خالد بن خداش (¬٧) بن عجلان المهلبي. مولاهم أبو بكر الضرير البصري. سكن بغداد. روى عن: أبيه، وإسماعيل بن علية، وابن مهدي، وعبيد بن واقد، ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، والمنهال بن بحر، ويحيى بن أبي الحجاج المنقري، وجماعة. روى عنه: ابن ماجه، وإبراهيم الحربي، وابن خزيمة، وابن بجير، وإسحاق بن داود الصواف، والحسن بن محمد بن شعبة، ومحمد بن نوح بن حرب العسكري، وأبو عروبة الحراني، وأبو بكر بن أبي داود، وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٨) في الثقات وقال: ربما أغرب عن أبيه والله أعلم.
