    ٦٦٧٠ - د ق: كنانة (¬٥) بن عباس بن مرداس السلمي. روى عن: أبيه أن النبي ﷺ دعا لأمته عشية عرفة. وعنه: ابنه عبد الله قال البخاري (¬٦): لا يصح وذكره ابن حبان (¬٧) في الثقات. قلت: وقال في كتاب الضعفاء حديثه منكر جدًّا لا أدري التخليط منه أو من ابنه ومن أيهما كان فهو ساقط الاحتجاج به وقال ابن مندة في تاريخه يقال: إن لكنانة صحبة انتهى ولم أر من ذكره في الصحابة على قاعدتهم في ذلك وقد ذكرته في الإصابة وأورده ابن عدي تبعًا للبخاري.
