٦٥٨٦ - عس: قيس أبو المغيرة الخارفي (¬٩) الكوفي. روى عن: عثمان، وعلي. وعنه: أبو إسحاق السبيعي، وأبو الحجاف داود بن أبي عوف، وأبو هاشم القاسم بن كثير الخارفي. قال النسائي في الكنى أبو المغيرة قيس بن سعد الخارفي وقال ابن حبان (¬١٠) في الثقاتقيس بن سعد الخارفي من أهل الكوفة كنيته أبو عبد الله. قلت: بل الذي في ثقات ابن حبان كنيته أبو المغيرة كما قال النسائي وذكر ابن سعد (¬١) أنه روى عن عمر أيضًا وروى عنه قال أتيت عمر فقلت إن أهلي يريدون الهجرة فذكر قصة وقال ليث بن أبي سليم عن القاسم عن سعد بن قيس قلب اسمه.
