٦٥٣٥ - م س: قطن بن وهب بن عويمر بن الأجدع الليثي أبو الحسن ويقال: الخزاعي المدني. روى عن: عمه، ويحنس مولى آل الزبير، وعبيد بن عمير الليثي، وغيرهم. وعنه: مالك بن أنس، وعبيد الله بن عمر العمري، وعبد الأعلى بن أبي فروة، وعمر بن صهبان، والضحاك بن عثمان الحزامي، والوليد بن كثير المدني، وآخرون. قال أبو حاتم (¬٧) صالح الحديث، وقال النسائي: ليس به بأس وذكره ابن حبان (¬٨) في الثقات. له عندهما حديثابن عمر في فضل المدينة. من اسمه: القعقاع
