٦٣٣٤ - د: فرات (¬٢) بن حيان بن عطية بن عبد العزى بن حبيب بن أحمد بن ربيعة بن سعد بن عجل العجلي حليف بني سهم كان عينًا لأبي سفيان ثم أسلم وحسن إسلامه وقال فيه النبي ﷺ: "إن منكم رجالًا نكلهم إلى إيمانهم منهم فرات بن حبان". روى عن: النبي ﷺ هذا الحديث. وعنه: حارثة بن مضرب، وقيس بن زهير، والحسن البصري. روى له أبو داود الحديث المذكور. قلت: ذكره ابن سعد (¬٣) في طبقة الخندقيين وقال: نزيل الكوفة.
