٦٣٢١ - ق: غياث بن جعفر الشامي الرحبي (¬٩) من رحبة مالك بن طوق كان مستملي بن عيينة. روى عنه وعن الوليد بن مسلم، ومعن بن عيسى، وعبد الرزاق، وجماعة. روى عنه: ابن ماجه، وعبد الله بن أحمد، وجعفر بن درستوية، والحسين بن إدريس، ومحمد بن جرير، والسراج، ومحمد بن هارون المجدر، وغيرهم. قال الدارقطني روى عن ابن عيينة حديثًا كثيرًا وذكره ابن حبان (¬١٠) في الثقات. قلت: وقال مستقيم الحديث.من اسمه: غيلان
