٦٣١٦ - بخ س: غضيف بن أبي سفيان الطائفي (¬٩) الثقفي وقيل غطيف. روى عن: يعقوب ونافع ابني عاصم، وعمر بن أوس. وعنه: سعيد بن السائب، وعمرو بن وهب الطائفيان. قال ابن حبان (¬١٠): في الثقات غطيف بن أبي سفيان الثقفي روى عن ابن عمر وعنه سعيد بن السائب. قلت: بقية كلام ابن حبان قال: مات سنة ثمان وأربعين ومائة وكذا أرخه خليفة (¬١١): وابن سعد (¬١٢): وذكره ابن مندة فيمعرفة الصحابة وقال ابن أبي حاتم (¬١) في المراسيل عن أبيه هو تابعي.
