    ٦٣١٢ - د: غسان بن عوف المازني البصري. روى عن: سعيد الجريري. وعنه: أحمد بن عبيد الله الغداني، ومحمد بن جامع العطار. روى له أبو داود حديث أبي سعيد في الدعاء. قال الآجري سألت أبا داود عن غسان بن عوف الذي يحدث عنه الجريري بحديث الدعاء فقال: شيخ بصري وهذا حديث غريب. قلت: ضعفه الساجي والأزدي وقال العقيلي: لايتابع على كثير من حديثه ووقع في كتاب الدعاء لابن أبي عاصم غسان بن وهب.
