٦١٥١ - خ دس ق: عوف بن الحارث بن الطفيل بن سخبرة (¬٨) بن جرثومة الأزدي رضيع عائشة وابن أخيها لأمها. روى عنها: وعن أخته رميثة بنت الحارث وعن أم سلمة، وأبي هريرة، والمسور بن مخرمة، وعبد الله بن الزبير، وعبد الرحمن بن الأسود بن عبد يغوث، ونوفل بن معاوية، وجماعة. وعنه: عامر بن عبد الله بن الزبير، وهشام بن عروة، والزهري، وعبد المجيد بن سهل، ومحصن بن علي الفهري، وبكير بن الأشج، وعبد الله بن محمد بن أبي يحيى، وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٩) في الثقات. قلت: أخو عائشة لأمهاهو الطفيل والد عوف نص عليه البخاري وغيره وجزم ابن المديني بأنه عوف بن الطفيل بن الحارث بن سخبرة والله أعلم.
