    ٥٩١٦ - بخ: عمرو بن سلمة بن الحارث (¬٥) الهمداني ويقال الكندي الكوفي. روى عن: علي، وأبي موسى الأشعري، وسلمان بن ربيعة الباهلي. وعنه: ابنه يحيى، ويزيد بن أبي زياد، وعامر الشعبي. قال ابن أبي حاتم (¬٦) عن أبيه: أخطأ البخاري في عمرو بن سلمة حيث جمع بينهما ذاك جرمي وهذا همداني وذكره ابن حبان (¬٧) في الثقات وقال: مات سنة خمس وثمانين وهو أخو عبد الله بن سلمة. قلت: وذكره ابن سعد (¬٨): في الطبقة الأولى من أهل الكوفة وقال: كان ثقةقليل الحديث وهو الذي بعثه الحسن بن علي في الصلح بينه وبين معاوية (¬١).
